AAPB Membership Tiers

Voting Members

Public Network Operator

A public entity (municipality, special purpose district, co-operative, etc.) that owns and/or operates a network that provides middle-mile or last mile broadband access to consumers or businesses.

<10,000 subscribers: $1000 annually

10,000-50,000 subscribers: $2,000 annually

>50,000 subscribers: $5,000 annually

  • Reduced Registration at AAPB and partner in-person events

  • Listing on website

  • Quarterly newsletter

  • Access to all AAPB research and advocacy materials

Government Agency

An agency or department of local, state or federal government.  State Broadband Offices, Commerce, etc.

$1,000 Annually

  • Access to all AAPB research and advocacy materials

Tribal Agency

An agency or department of a Tribal nation.

$1,000 Annually

Individual government employee

An elected official or employee of a local, state or federal government.

$500 Annually

Non-Voting Members

Nonprofit/Advocacy Organization

Non-profit or advocacy organization that support publicly owned broadband initiatives.

$1,000 Annually

Private Network Operator

A private entity that provides  last mile broadband access to consumers or businesses over a publicly owned network or supports publicly owned broadband.

<10,000 subscribers: $1500 Annually

10,000-50,000 subscribers: $2,500 Annually

>50,000 subscribers: $6,000 Annually

  • Listing on website

  • Quarterly newsletter

  • Access to all AAPB research and advocacy materials

Vendor

Vendors manufacture, distribute and sell products and services to, among others, public network operators.  They include, but are not limited to, electronics and equipment manufacturers, accounting, engineering and policy consultants and law firms.

Gold Membership: $5000 annually

Benefits:

Platinum Membership: $10,000
